My name is Liz. I'm a mom. I crochet. I take pictures. I try to not give in to my sweet tooth (and usually fail).
I started Playin' Hooky Designs in 2009 after my oldest daughter and son were born. I chose to stay at home with my kids, but I also wanted to spread my love of crochet to the world (and let's face it, I needed some Mommy time too).
Soon after, I developed my own style and began writing down my patterns. I like designing for men, women, and kids alike; accessories that can be worn by everyone whether they ski every day, or just want to look like they do.
Playin’ Hooky is my business and my passion. I work from my home in the mountains of Colorado (when my kids let me) where I'm inspired every day to keep creating.
